For Catherine Elizabeth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Jacobs and Lulu Jacobs (Hawley); her husband Joseph "Foster" Thatcher; and her sons, Donald and Charles Thatcher.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Thatcher (Elaine) of Winchester, Robert Thatcher of Peebles, Jimmie Thatcher (Carissa) of Winchester, Dorothy Strickland (Kenneth) of Rarden, Mary Hupman (Roger) of Springfield and Pauline Slyger of Peebles. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
