He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cox and Opal Cox (Delay). He is survived by: his wife Hazel "Polly" Cox (Birchfield); and his children, Ben Cox of Peebles, Melody Carson (Frank) of Delaware, Beth Combs (Terry) of Jackson and Carmen Paver (Joe) of Marysville. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren, and numerous friends.
