It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas DeLong of Pedro, Ohio, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Luther and Mildred "Ritti" DeLong (Lewis); his former wife Chloe Myrtle DeLong (Toland); his children, John Shope, Franklin Carmon and Betty Thompson; and his siblings, Curtis DeLong, Everette DeLong, Charles DeLong, Helen Schuller, Alma "Midge" Stevens, Louise Stacy, Myrtle Blevins and Rita Fackler.
He is survived by: his fiancée Rhonda Carmon; his daughters, Trish DeLong and Doris Cattell (Scott); his brother Ronnie DeLong; and his nephews, Terry Roof and Frank Shope. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
