He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dodson and Edna Phillips Dodson; and his wife Norma Easterling Dodson. He is survived by: his children, Roger Emanual Dodson Jr. of Huntington, WV, William Earl Dodson of Pedro, OH, John Burton Dodson of Ironton, OH, Melissa Faye Bellomy of Pedro, OH, Edna Elizabeth Dodson of Catlettsburg, KY, Joyce Kay Dodson of Colegrove, OH and Vicki Lynn Aldridge of Pedro, OH. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
