He was predeceased by: his parents, James McFann and Ada McFann (Russell). He is survived by: his wife Lorene Knipp McFann; his children, Terry Denise Turley, Jeri Lynn Morgan, Kathy Ilene Wolff, Beth Ann McFann, Brock McFann and Blake McFann; and his siblings, Woodrow, Floyd, Albert, Arthur, Edgar, Ray McFann, Ruby Hart and Bonnie McFann.
