She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gene and Mary Markel (Layne); and her grandparents, Millard F. Layne, Myrtle Evelyn Depriest Layne, Charlie and Tora Dalton Markel.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Ray Depriest; her sons, Adam Depriest (Carol), Garrett Depriest (Tiffany) and Brandon Depriest (Linzy); her sister Kristy Redmond (Randy); her grandchildren, Rylie, Elijah, Nolin, Marlea, Grayden, Nathan, Niah and Brittany Dillon (Matt); her great grandchildren, Zoey and Braxton Dalton; her close friend Beverly Norris; and her nieces and nephews, Jared Redmond (Sara), Miranda Guy and Keri Patton (Nick).
