He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reaper Sr. and Rose Abrams Reaper Sharp; his children, Peggy Reaper, Lisa Thibodeaux and Vic Thibodeaux; and his siblings, Arthur, William Reaper, Geraldine Sargent, Connie Abrams and Joyce Reaper.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cole Reaper; his children, Paul Hunter of Ironton, OH, Jeff Reaper of Pedro, OH, Christy Reaper of Pedro, OH and Yvonne Riddle (Ted) of Ironton, OH; and his sisters, Linda Bridges of Ironton, OH, Mary Crager of South Point, OH and Kathy Douglas of Coal Grove, OH. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
