It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Ashworth of Pedro, Ohio, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Mildred Ashworth Sr. (Cade); his wife Peggy Ashworth (DePriest); and his sister Sharline Blankenship (Ashworth). He is survived by: his close friend Ruth DeMerse of Pedro, OH; his children, Fred A. Ashworth Jr. (Nicole) and Michele R. Ashworth of Coal Grove, OH; his grandsons, Willard Atlee Sites of Coal Grove, OH and Evan Edward Sites of Coal Grove, OH; his brother-in-law Larry Blankenship of Pedro, OH; his nieces, Sherri Baily of Franklin Furnace, OH and Terri Freeman (John) of Ironton, OH; and his nephew Rick Blankenship (Angie) of Franklin Furnace, OH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
