She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Porter. She is survived by: her parents, Richard Schmidt and Joan Schmidt (Ames); her daughter Kierin Beasom (Michael); her brothers, Jim Schmidt (Terese) and Jay Schmidt (Jodie); and her siblings-in-law, Denise Nelson (Dale) and Nathan Porter.
