She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Hoersten (Fischbach) and Louis Hoersten; her husband Fred Black; and her siblings, Edwin, Isidore, Richard, Harold, Roger Hoersten, Rita Adams, Mary Bullinger and Betty Daeger.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Black, Jeff Black (Kris), Julie Stuart (Ed) and Laura Cox (Steve); her brother John Hoersten; and her grandchildren, Emily, Jason, Adam Black, Mina Cox and Eli Stuart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
