With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Schmidt of Payne, Ohio, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecile Deeter (Pio) and John Deeter; and her husband Glen. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Schmidt (late Shirley), Daniel Schmidt, Diane Langbehn (Jim), Gregory Schmidt and Gay Beebe (Jim); and her sister Jeannine Strombeck. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; & 30 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and other tributes, the family asks to have Masses said in her name. Memorials are to Divine Mercy Catholic Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
