He was predeceased by: his parents, Izabelle Crawford (Zartman) and James Crawford; his siblings, Melvin Sr., Mildred, Harriet, Sherry and Joyce; and his grandson Melvin, III.
He is survived by: his wife Juleen (Bass); his stepchildren, Melvin Crawford (Jan), Rev. DeVon Davis and Douglas Crawford (Sherry); his grandchildren, Rachel Rager (Josh), Jarrett Davis, Ben Crawford, Leah Ross, Martin Crawford, Melanie Galaway and Ryan Davis; his great grandchildren, Thea, Donohue, Clark, Keegan, Kamden, Gabriel, Elva, Eleanore and Theodore; and his niece Kari Lynn.
Memorials may be made to the Payne Church of the Nazarene.
