It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vestel Schlegel Sr. (Paulding, Ohio), who passed away on April 10, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth Schlegel of Paulding. He is survived by: his parents, Isadore Schlegel and Pearl Schlegel (Horsterman); his wife Evelyn Schlegel of Paulding; his children, Vestel "Cork" Schlegel, Jr. (Deborah) of Paulding, Vera Schlegel of Defiance, Veronica "Roni" Bakle (Glenn) of Paulding and Vicki Maynard (Brian) of Findlay; and his close friends, Joyce, Greg Tracy, Melrose, Mark Justinger, Mike and Myra Hanenkratt. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
