It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma J. Albert in Paulding, Ohio, born in Milan, Indiana, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gerig and Esther Gerig (Zimmerman); her husband Forest E. Albert; and her siblings, Lawrence, Lloyd Gerig, Fern Merillat and Hutoka Opdycke.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Albert (Jenny) of Defiance, OH, Deb Kitchen (Ron) of Iowa City, IA and Vickie Albert of Paulding, OH; her grandchildren, Jason Flint, Andrew Kitchen (Jessica), Abigail Relue (Todd), Katherine Albert and Allie Roddy; her great grandchildren, Alberto Flint (Alexis), Mari Flint (Allen), Evie Relue, Teddy Relue, Claire Kitchen, Oliver Kitchen, Kane Kessler (Rochelle) and Tristan Albert (Miranda); and her great great grandchildren, Jasper, Amelia, Abram, Arlo, Brooklyn, Brooks and Rowan.
