She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Vogel (Schaeper); and her brother Mark. She is survived by: her father Vern Vogel; her son Marc Schindler; her grandchildren, Taylor and Haylie; her siblings, Vern 'Butch' (Patsy), Paul, Alan (Lori), Tyrone (Terri), Robert, Dana (Leslie), Patrick (Shelly), Tony (Kellie), Todd (Paula), Rose Sunday (Pat Bowers), Rita Engle (Jeff) and Ruth Graham (Bill); and her nephews, Justin and Brandon Vogel.
