He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Burtch and Joan Burtch (Kuns). He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Reichenbach; his children, Michael E. Burtch II (Kora) and Jasmin Nulton (Nehemiah) of Tennessee; his siblings, David of Paulding, Doug (Nancy) of Paulding, Bill Burtch (Peter), Karla Burtch (Mike Griggs) and Joanie Goyings (Steve); and his grandchildren, Michael "Trey" Burtch III, Sara and Sylvia Nulton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Alzheimer's Association or St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.
