We bid farewell to Matthew Wayne Adkins of Paulding, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 22, 2025 at the age of 53. Matthew touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Francis Russell (Smith); his son Matthew Robert Adkins; his grandson Johnathan Alvin Smith; his grandparents, Dorthea (Smith) and William Joseph Potts; his aunts, Barbara Gillet and Catherine Potts (Muchnok-Detrich); and his uncle Billy Joe.
He is survived by: his father Gregory Adkins (Kathy Mericle); his former wife Lisa Rader (Roger); his children, Rebecka Smith (Matthew), Joseph Adkins and Corrina Adkins; and his siblings, Craig Adkins and Laura Adkins Merriman (Jason). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many close friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Faternal Order of Eagles (140 N Main St, North Baltimore, OH 45872).
