He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Gonzales and Trinidad Gonzales; his wife Nanei; and his brothers, Alex, Alfonso and Antonio Gonzales.
He is survived by: his nephew Mark; his children, Charlene Bernal (Francisco), ChilLim Gonzales, Columbus and Jesse Jr.; his grandson Mario Bernal; and his siblings, Guadalupe Genero, Olga Rocha, Eddie Gonzales and Charles Gonzales Paulding (Charlotte).
