He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman "Bud" and Christine Laker (Phlipot). He is survived by: his son Matthew Laker (Tania) of Clay City, KY; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Sage Laker; his significant other Brenda Bauer; and his siblings, David Laker (Janet), Jim Laker (Karen), George Laker (Susan), Bryan, Ken Laker (Arlene), Cecil, Bonnie Nally (Tim), Ted Laker (Donna), Rosann Laker (Carol), Mary DeGood (Scott) and Pam Laker.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Masses or in memory of Jerry Laker C/O David Laker.
