He is survived by: his spouse Karen Rose Ramsey Mielke; his son Gary Lee Mielke (Taylor) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Eli and Olivia Mielke; his brothers, Kenneth Mielke (Lee Ann) of Van Wert and Max Mielke of New Haven, Indiana; and his stepsiblings, Earl Mottoshed of Defiance, Ohio, Sharon Iler of Defiance and Diane Davis of Atlanta.
