We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2021 we had to say goodbye to James Grimsley of Paulding, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Grimsley and Irene Grimsley (Burns); his former wife Ruth Grimsley; his siblings, Marjorie Smith and Doug Grimsley; and his stepson Robert Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Darleen Halagan; his children, Lisa Bachman (Matthew) of Morenci, MI, Gwen Bassett (Burt) of Bryan and Robert Grimsley (Valerie) of Edgerton; his stepdaughter Amanda Parker of Newark; his grandchildren, C. J., Amanda, Madison, Blake, Nya and Desseriah; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Celena and Isabel; and his sister Reba Brown (Lonny) of West Alexandria.
In keeping with the social distancing guidelines, a visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses, Christian Motorcycle Association or Defiance County Hospice.
