He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Phlipot and Hazel M. Phlipot (Copsey); his wife Dorothy S. Wickstandt; his granddaughter Jennifer Jo Bissell; and his siblings, Jerry, Howard, Earl "Zeb", Lawrence, Ruth Schneider, Christine Laker, Helen Coil, Mable Philpot and Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Bortel (Jerry) of Paulding, Patti Bissell (Jim) of Paulding and Kevin Phlipot (Lori) of Paulding; and his sisters, Dorothy Alt (Bill) of London, OH and Laura Pease. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Masses or Community Health Professionals Hospice.
