With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Helms of Paulding, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen G Helms (Davison) and Richard C Helms; and his siblings, Sarah, Johnny, Phil Helms and Emily Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Maguire; his children, Rebecca Davis, Kati Helms, Jacqulyn Helms, George Helms, Jr. and Casey Helms (Kasey); and his siblings, Rita Stackhouse (Ora), Richard Helms, Jr. (Dorothy), Diana Larimore (Richard), Donna Garska (Larry), Dorothy Gebhart (Roger), Pat Speith (Bill), Mary Roemer (Scott), Kristina Kipker (Gary) and James Helms. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
Due to state mandate, guests must wear masks at all times, maintain social distancing, and refrain from contact to keep everyone safe while participating in his viewing and funeral service.
