It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Elston (Paulding, Ohio), born in Payne, Ohio, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Elston and Leona Elston (Stultz); his sons, Ronald Sr. and Richard Sr.; his siblings, Mabel, Linda, Jean, Wanita, Don and William; and his daughter-in-law Olive.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Slane; his sons, John Elston (Diana) of Payne and Edwin Elston of Payne; and his sisters, Shirley Kirkpatrick and Pamela Mattes (John). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Ed's memory in care of Den Herder Funeral Home.
