She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Schlegel and Dora Schlegel (Jones); her husband Charles J. Scott Sr.; her children, Beverly Scott, Charles and Jonathan; and her siblings, Roberta Shellenbarger, Oliver and Anthony.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Scott, Tamera Anderson (Kevin), Catherine Mullins Sr. (Larry), Gena George (Mike) and Cynthia Stokes (Tim); and her sister Linda Boyer. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
