David Laker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Laker (Paulding, Ohio), born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman "Bud" and Christine Laker (Phlipot); and his brother Jerome "Jerry" Laker. He is survived by: his wife Janet M. James; his children, Michelle Hurtig (Jason), Cecil, Jennifer Schwiebert (Rob), LeAnn Laker (Jeremy Sierra), Tamara Rau (Jason) and Brian Laker (Angela); and his siblings, Jim Laker (Karen), George Laker (Susan), Bryan, Ken Laker (Arlene), Cecil, Bonnie Nally (Tim), Ted Laker (Donna), Rosann Laker (Carol Cowell) and Mary DeGood (Scott) of Leesburg, IN. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to ALS; Masses; or Paulding Co. Jail Ministry.
