He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis E. Herr and Helen L. Herr (Starlin); his wife Joan Marie Schultz; and his children, Martin Herr and Shelley Kessler.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mandy Rae Bowers of Paulding and Marty Kessler of Paulding.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to a charity of the donor's choice.
