He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel R. Coy and Helen Coy (Smalley); and his brother Thomas R. Coy. He is survived by: his wife Velma L. Taylor; his stepdaughters, Becky Clark (Bill), Lori Beth Burnside (Craig) and Jody Ward (Michael); his sister Mary Woodard (Terry); and his sister-in-law Diana Coy. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
