He was predeceased by: his parents, Coe F. Gordon, Sr. and Alma Gordon (Saum); and his sister Joan Wythe. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gordon (Patterson); his children, Edward Coe Gordon (Karen), Michael Bruce Gordon and Teresa Kay Lane (William); his grandchildren, Emily Lawson, Austin Gordon, Sean Gordon, Ashley Gordon, Daniel Lane and Michael Luttrell; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Ruby and Theo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paulding County Hospital where he received excellent care.
