He is survived by: his wife Rita Ronk Jarrell; his children, Tresa Somers (Adam) of Wilkes, Amanda Anderson (Eric) of Harmony, NC and Kenneth "Mike" Jarrell (Heather) of Patriot, Ten; and his grandchildren, Brandi, Courtney, Sophia, Josie, Erica, Brodie, Kaitlyn, Hayden, Jeffrey and Kevin (Rita). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
