She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Fultz and Nella Fultz; her siblings, Dayton Briggs, Verna Mae Smith, Marvin Fultz and Albert "Sonny" Fultz; her former husband Lewis Henry McCarter; her husband Artis James Bunch Sr.; her daughters, Salome May McCarter and Julia Virginia Jordan; and her stepdaughter Joyce Ann Mayo.
She is survived by: her children, Christy Ann McCarter (Jerry Rider) and Artis James Bunch Jr.; her stepson John Bunch; and her grandchildren, Lewis Brandon McCarter Sr. (Selena), Margaret Shannon McCarter, George Jordan, Antonio Jordan (Renee), Margaret Rachele Jordan and Olivia Rider. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
