He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Jeffers and Erma L. Fraley Jeffers; his son Donnie Jeffers; and his brothers, Ray Jeffers and Lowell Ed Jeffers.

He is survived by: his spouse Marinelle Parkins Jeffers; his children, Steve Jeffers (Joy) of Cincinnati, Beth Ruff (Bob) of Patriot and Jim Jeffers (Lori) of Jackson, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jeremy Jeffers (Christina), Amy Huhtala (Paul), Annah Ruff (Lucy), Molly Ruff (Ben Hupp), Tyler, Justin and Bradley Jeffers; his sister Betty Hill of Patriot; and his sister-in-law Sharon Jeffers of Gallipolis, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
