He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Emerson Hively and Flora Hively (Stanley). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Hively (Owens); his son Brad Hively (Armanda) of Higginsport, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Sophia Catherine Hively of Higginsport, Kala McCune (Matt) of Parkersburg, W. Va, Krystal Darst (Bryce) of Cheshire and Leanne Hively; his great grandchildren, Connor, Adalee Darst, Brendan and Landon Jones; his niece Tina Price (Dennis) of St Mary's W. Va; his brothers, Keith Hively and Roger Pace (Clarice) of Patriot, Ohio.; and also Allison Small of Gallipolis.
Due to the pandemic and knowing that Jimmy would not want his family and friends to endanger themselves or his community, a private service was held.
