George L. Duty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2021, at the age of 64, George L. Duty of Patriot, Ohio, born in Williamson, West Virginia passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Duty and Nancy Hall Duty; and his siblings, Arthur Douglas Duty and Lora M. "Tinker" Duty. He is survived by: his children, Candace Moore (Jason) of Gallipolis, George C. Duty (Amanda Fee) of Patriot and Arthur Nathaniel "Andy" Duty (Katelin) of Gallipolis; his grandchildren, Madelyn Moore, Avalee Duty, Berklee Duty, D. J. Eisel, Daisy Eisel and George Maximus Duty; his sisters, Patricia Taylor (Joe), Kathy Preston (Daniel) of Patriot, Nola "Snookie" Carey (Jim) of Surry, VA and Gerry Gilman of Delbarton, WV; and his sister-in-law LaNora Duty of Gallipolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home from 6:00 p. m. - 8:00 p. m. Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC guidelines of social distancing and are required to follow the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks.
