He was predeceased by: his father Roy Shelton; his wife Betty L. Shelton; his son Roy Shelton; his brother Larry Shelton; and his brother-in-law Bobby Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Clarence Shelton (Bobbie), Kathy Robinson and Edna Bowens (Milford); and his sisters, Shirley, Alice and Mildred. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
