He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hampton and Noreen Hampton (Robertson); his former wife Karla Christine Hampton; and his siblings, Mildred Pauline Cornette, Douglas Hampton and Phillip Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Stringer Hampton; his son Christopher Hampton (Erica) of Patriot, Ohio; his stepson Joshua Preston (Julie Sayre); his grandchildren, Christopher Brady Hampton (Julie) of Mercerville, Ohio, Kali Hampton (Keeli) of Mercerville, Ohio, Seth Carpenter (Taylor) of Mercerville, Ohio, Ty Carpenter (Allie) of Mercerville, Ohio, Peyton Preston and John Henry Sayre; his great grandchildren, Devon Koehler, Sophie Hampton, Knox Carpenter, Wrenleigh Carpenter, Nash Carpenter, Koa Carpenter and Kaden Hampton; and his siblings, Kenneth Earl Hampton and Penelope Shope. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Chapel (43 Township Rd 1010, Chesapeake, OH 45619).
