She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Smith and Lorella Smith; and her siblings, Mildred McLaughlin (Woodrow), Gerald "Sonny" Smith (Betty), Irene Berry (Tom), Doris Phillips (Chester) and Donald "Bub" Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Max; her children, Susan Brock (Richard) and Rick Bolen (Paula); her sister-in-law Barbara Smith; and her grandchildren, Doug Brock (Katie), Stacia Woodcock (Lloyd), Michelle Gniadeck (Bobby), Caetie Berger (Aaron) and Laura Ayres (Brian). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
