He was predeceased by: his parents, Miller Wilson and Vanetta Puckett Plato; his former wife Evangelyn Carol Plato; his son Jeffrey Scott Plato; and his siblings, Dixie Plato-Brown, Susie Boevers and Randy Plato.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Plato; his daughters, Krista Plato (Jeff Donnellon), Heather Morris (Todd) and Stacie Walpole (Joseph); his grandchildren, Cora, Crosby Donnellon, Seth, Hayden Walpole, Gabriel and Elijah Morris; and his great grandchild Koleson Walpole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends.
