He was predeceased by: his parents, Ryland Kemmerling and Mildred Kemmerling (Galloway); his grandson Preston Lane; and his brother Lowry "Whitey" (Nancy). He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Decker); his sons, Troy (Kendra) and Shawn (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Brenden, Brody, Blake, Parker and Griffin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brother-in-law and sister-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bella Care Hospice, 110 Polaris Parkway, Suite 302, Westerville, OH 43082 in Ryland's memory.
