He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Adams and Mary Louise Beaver; and his sister Marjorie Jones. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Robert Adams Jr.; his daughter-in-law Cristi Lemaster Adams; his granddaughter Averie Adams; his sister Mary Alice Grove (Albert); and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Geiger and Jim Betts (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Dr. SW, Heath, OH 43056 in Bob's memory.
