He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son Seth Nichols (Christina); his granddaughter Lily; his daughter Rachel Nichols; his siblings, Dorance Hornsby (Jack) and Dean Nichols (Linda); his nieces, Ashley Corvin and Kristy Carroll; and his nephew Matt Hornsby.
