He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Theodore and Frances Katherine Huck (Clark); his wife Alice; his son Shane Huck; his brother James Huck; and his brother-in-law Joe Kutscherenko.
He is survived by: his daughter Sonya Jones (Bret); his grandchildren, Christopher Hockstok (Lynsie Baker) and Mackenzie Jones; his siblings, Neil Huck (Connie), Roger Huck, Jerry Huck (Theresa), Karen Kutscherenko, Sheila Huck and Lyle Brownrigg (Cindy); his nieces, Meredith Kutscherenko and Michele Popovich; and his great-niece Tiffany Hart.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service (285 E Main St, Kirkersville, OH 43033). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service - Kirkersville (285 E Main St, Kirkersville, OH 43033). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (5133 Walnut Rd, Buckeye Lake, OH 43008).
The family refers that memorial contributions in Richard's memory to be directed to the VBS at Our Lady of Mount Carmel or the Knights of Columbus Council at Our Lady Church.
