It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max E. Bolen of Pataskala, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Bolen; his parents, Winnie Bolen and Wesley Bolen; his siblings, Wesley Bolen, Rosalie Bolen, Catherine Wogen (Austin), Harold Bolen (Juanita), Roger Bolen (Betty) and Jack Bolen; and his brother-in-law Jim Nelson.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Brock (Richard) and Rick Bolen (Paula); his sisters, Donna Jean Nelson and Lois Weaver (Keith); his sister-in-law Helen Bolen; his grandchildren, Doug Brock (Katie), Stacia Woodcock (Lloyd), Michelle Gniadeck (Bobby), Caetie Berger (Aaron) and Laura Ayres (Brian); and his nephew Leonard Wogan (Peggy). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable donation to the Tri Village Christian Church, where Max was an active member or the Wounded Warrior Project.
