She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Henry and Thelma Henry (Stewart); her husband Jimmy Coleman; her former husband Clarence Ward; and her siblings, Terry Henry and Johnny Aaron Henry.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Beach (Randy), Aaron Ward (Cathy) and Chris Ward (Julie); her grandchildren, Brandy Duncan, Tommy Dadisman (Ayleen), Joseph Ward and Benjamin Ward; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Alex, Aaron and Aubrey; and her sister Joanne Quisenberry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
