He was predeceased by: his wife Sherri Maynard; his mother Myrtle Estep; his stepfather William "Bubby" Estep; his siblings, Freddie, Keith, Eugene and Donna; and his stepsons, James Whitson and Shon Lowery.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Lukas and Beau Whitson; his stepchildren, Keith Lowery (Cindy) and Jamie Blackburn (Christopher); his siblings, Johnny Estep (Maryann), Charles Maynard, Ricky Estep and Alberta Gail Estep; and his friend Monte Matteson (JoAn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
