He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Jobes and Bertha Matthews Jobes; his son Lee Jobes; and his siblings, Franklin, Mervin, Cy Jobes, Fannie Woodford, Sarah Atkinson, Bernice Mattis and Bonnie Eish.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hays Jobes; his daughters, Kimberly Agler of Grove City, Lisa Jobes of Columbus and Jennifer McCord of Fort Mill, SC; and his sister Dolly Stokley of New Albany. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
