It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John David Arnold of Pataskala, Ohio, born in Londonderry, Ohio, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Arnold and Margaret Arnold (Jones); and his former wife Sara "Sally" Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Sandi Montgomery; his children, Toni Arnold (Mike Niggel) and John Arnold (Margie Lech); and his siblings, Gene Arnold (Lorraine) and Deborah Meloy (Denny Cook). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“John was such a warm and welcoming person. I met him at church, and soon discovered he lived in my neighborhood. Always enjoyed stopping to have a few words while I was out on my daily walk. One of the first people I came to know at Tri Village Christian church. A man who was committed to his faith, and happy to share what he knew to be the truth. I have no doubt he touched the lives of many over the course of his life. My deepest sympathies to all those who loved him . 🙏🏻❤️”

“John was among the first people in The Villages to offer a warm greeting to us in 2016. He invited us to sit with him and Sandy at a village social and we became instant friends and neighbors. I cherish every minute I spent with John and Sandy. We really missed seeing them after they returned to live in Ohio. Blessings to Sandy and John's family. He was a wonderful kind man.”
