He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wise; his children, John Howell (Kathy), Brent Howell (Beth) and Tammy Cantrell (Jeff); his grandchildren, Aubrey Shivers (James), Mitch Howell (Katie), Katelyn Smith (Joseph), D. J. Howell, Trey Howell, Haley Morrison (Logan) and Krystal Dunlap (Dontae); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Borden and Mary Howell. He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the OSU James Cancer Hospital.
