He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Millard and Marjorie Ann Burns (Riggs); and his wife Janet Ruth Burns (Purdy). He is survived by: his children, Theresa Burns of Dublin, David Lee Burns (Darla) of Massillon and Jason Burns (Dianna) of Granville; his grandchildren, Kyle Burns, Holly Steward (Connor), Kent Burns, Carson Burns, Jacklyn Keene (Mark), Jessica Frum (Danny), Christopher Olson and Joshua Burns; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Kinsley Burns, Bryce, Connor Keene and Barrett Frum; and his brothers, Ronald Burns (Pam) of Columbus and Greg Burns (Judy) of Pataskala. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
