He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Leonard and Dovie Pearl Husk (Fleming); his former wife Wilma J. Husk (Garrison); his daughter Janet Husk Shaner; and his siblings, Margaret Tuller, Glen, Lewis and Huey Husk.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Husk (Sizemore); his daughters, Deborah S. Hughes (Jerry), Carol J. Lines and Pamela L. Nethers (David); and his stepchildren, Terri Sanders, Timothy Brill and Dallas Aldridge. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
